Chimwemwe mu’bereki Association CMA (translated Joyful Motherhood) is a Malawian NGO, which was founded in 2008 to address:

1. the persistent high infant mortality rates among high-risk infant groups, and
2. the prolonged and widespread impact of chronic health issues following “near-miss” deliveries.

Our Mission

Chimwemwe mu’bereki Association provides family-based care to high-risk infants and to women experiencing chronic illness after delivery.  We ensure our clients receive excellent and compassionate nursing care, adequate nutrition, and community support.  By providing targeted care, our model enables families to ensure that their most vulnerable members thrive.

We envision a country where vulnerable infants thrive and women are secure and healthy.
